Principle 1: Teach for work, not recall
Define observable competencies for each course. Learners demonstrate that they can handle a client enquiry or produce and explain a business dashboard, rather than simply repeat course content.
These ten operational commitments govern every single session, brief, and centre across our partnership.

Every learner contributes to a live, approved project sourced through our industry partners. Each project has a brief, a partner contact, agreed outputs and feedback. Individual contributions are recorded even when learners work in teams.
Start with a demonstration, move to guided practice, then independent work on the partner brief. Weekly tasks build towards a final work sample.
Use studio, media, publishing and client-service workflows to teach the approved business and data skills. Learners see how their work affects delivery, client experience, revenue and decisions.
Tutors review practical work every week. Learners receive specific feedback, correct errors and apply what they learned to the next stage of their project.
Use an approved baseline, weekly formative tasks and a final practical assessment. A shared team project never replaces evidence of an individual learner’s competence.
Check device, connectivity and accessibility needs at onboarding. Monitor attendance and engagement after every session; contact learners who miss a session promptly and provide a recorded support or catch-up plan.
Learners finish with a work sample they can explain, a record of the tools they used and practice presenting their contribution to an employer or client. Confidential material is removed or replaced before a sample enters a public portfolio.
All trainers are trained and qualified, and use common session plans, briefs, rubrics and reporting templates. We have assigned quality leads who observe teaching, sample marked work and address differences between cohorts.
Review attendance, task completion, learner feedback, assessment results and partner feedback each week. Record actions and check whether they improve the next session or cohort.
Our mission is to work with businesses, studios and partners to give creative talent the skills, opportunities and commercial support to earn from their work, strengthen Nigeria’s creative economy and build a model that can grow across Africa and beyond.
